David Dunn is a partner in Hogan Lovells' New York office and practices in all areas of commercial and corporate litigation, with extensive experience in the areas of international commercial litigation, banking and financial matters, and employment related litigation. He appears regularly in federal and state trial and appellate courts, as well as in alternative forums such as commercial arbitration.

In the banking and finance areas, David has extensive experience representing financial institutions. His areas of focus include complex financing transactions, lender liability claims, and unfair trade practice claims. He has represented financial institutions in connection with a variety of disputes relating to acquisitions of other institutions or properties, investments, public offerings, and customer disputes.

David regularly represents international clients who become involved in litigation in the United States courts. He has successfully defended sovereign governments and their instrumentalities against claims seeking to embroil them in litigation in U.S. courts. He also regularly represents business entities located outside the U.S. in litigated disputes in U.S. courts and in alternative forums. He has experience in a wide range of commercial disputes. David has appeared repeatedly before courts in the U.S., and has collaborated in appearances before courts elsewhere concerning disclosure and discovery obligations relating to matters originating in domestic forums and in foreign tribunals.
