David I. Reader

David Reader is a corporate and business attorney with tax law training. His practice revolves around counseling clients on business entity choice and formation, business entity internal operations and governance, service and product rollout, alliance and consortium building, debt and equity financing, sales, mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Reader has closed transactions involving companies engaged in providing an array of services, including those in the airline, automobile, computer, financial, graphic design, healthcare, non-profit, railroad, retail, restaurant, telecommunications and transportation industries. Mr. Reader's diverse and ongoing experiences include representing: (a) clients in purchase and sale, merger and acquisition and corporate reorganization transactions, (b) business owners in negotiating buy-sell and tax-free spin-off transactions, (c) businesses in licensing, distributorship and marketing transactions, and (d) individuals and companies in creating non-profit, tax exempt entities to implement charitable, educational or professional development objectives.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Reader was a Tax Law Specialist in the Reorganization Branch of the Corporation Tax Division of the Internal Revenue Service.
