David is a partner in the Appellate Group and has more than 12 years of experience leading appeals, handling important trial proceedings, and devising strategies for complex cases. He has been recognized as a “Lawyer on the Fast Track” in 2012 by The Legal Intelligencer and a “Pennsylvania Rising Star” by Super Lawyers 2010-2013.

Outstanding Oral Advocate. David has argued cases in Third, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, Ninth, and D.C. Circuits and second-chaired U.S. Supreme Court arguments. His oral arguments have been quoted in judicial opinions and the press.

David has authored many legal briefs in the U.S. Supreme Court and federal and state courts throughout the country and writes frequently for legal and business publications. He has special expertise editing briefs, memoranda, and reports drafted by others and has taught legal writing and editing.
