David Mann is a partner in Holland & Knight's Chicago office. He counsels all forms of business entities in their structural and operational matters, including mergers and acquisitions, sales of goods and services, and internal governance.

Mr. Mann also is experienced in commercial real estate transactions, including their acquisition, development, financing and sale.

Mr. Mann represents banks in documenting both real estate and other asset-based loans and has worked with bankers to develop new commercial products for the lender.

Mr. Mann counsels businesses and organizations in the areas of advertising issues and Internet and traditional sweepstakes, skill contests and other promotional devices.

Mr. Mann was recently appointed special counsel by the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois. In this capacity, he investigates alleged violations of the Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct. He was also a panel chair of the Inquiry Board of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of the Illinois Supreme Court. Mr. Mann is an adjunct professor at Northwestern University School of Law.
