DeLisa L. Lay

DeLisa L. Lay is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She currently practices in the firm’s Litigation Department. Ms. Lay’s practice focuses on Foreign Corrupt Practices Act defense and investigations, International Trade, and Congressional Investigations.

Ms. Lay received her law degree from the Yale Law School in 2010, where she served as a Student Director of the Allard K. Lowenstein International Human Rights Clinic and a board member of the Yale Federalist Society. Ms. Lay graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas with a B.A. in Government & Politics in 2005.

Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Ms. Lay worked in Washington, D.C. as a Legislative Assistant for U.S. Representative Ted Poe (TX-02) and as a Clerk on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee for Sen. John Cornyn (TX).

Ms. Lay is a member of the bars of Texas and the District of Columbia.
