Dennis J. Abdelnour

Dennis Abdelnour

is an intellectual property litigation attorney in Kirkland's Chicago office.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Dennis served as a law clerk to Judge Timothy B. Dyk of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and before that as a patent examiner of mechanical engineering technology at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.

With Kirkland, Dennis has litigated a broad array of complex patent cases involving diverse technologies, from pharmaceuticals and semiconductors to medical devices and smartphones, in both district court and the International Trade Commission. He also has litigated false advertising cases, and practices regularly before the National Advertising Division, a division of the Better Business Bureau.

In addition to his trial work, Dennis also handles appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, as well as other federal courts of appeals and the National Advertising Review Board, the appellate body for advertising industry self-regulation.
