Edward Davis has over 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, securities, finance and other transactional matters. He represents clients across a broad range of asset classes and industries, including asset management, private equity, financial services, industrial and consumer products and services, telecommunications and entertainment.

Ed frequently advises asset managers, funds, insurance companies, broker-dealers, financial institutions and investors in connection with change of control transactions, minority investments, joint ventures and reorganizations involving financial services businesses, financial assets or alternative assets.

He also regularly counsels private equity funds, strategic investors and multi-national corporations and their shareholders, managers and other constituents on leveraged buyouts, auctions and other M&A activity, financings, recapitalizations and governance and general corporate matters. Through this work, he has developed significant experience in industrial products and services industries, including chemicals, industrial manufacturing, automotive and construction.

Ed has also counseled numerous entrepreneurs, issuers and investors in connection with business formations, venture capital and growth equity financings, securities offerings and other transactional matters.

Prior to joining Brown Rudnick, Ed was a partner with Mayer Brown LLP, where he was co-chair of its Financial Institutions M&A Group.
