Edward O. Timmer

Edward Timmer is a senior attorney in the firm’s Litigation Department, where he focuses on intellectual property matters, with a particular concentration on patent issues. Mr. Timmer joined Goodwin Procter in 2006.

Mr. Timmer has advised clients on intellectual property issues in a variety of technological arts, including medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry and biotechnology. His experience includes preparation of non-infringement and invalidity opinions, preparation and prosecution of patent applications and patent litigation.
