Elizabeth joined Reed Smith in 2012 and provides firmwide support to the Business & Finance and Litigation Departments. Since earning her law degree in 1984, Elizabeth has gained valuable experience working for a number of law firms and other entities, including holding positions with the court system and District Attorney’s office in Louisiana. She has worked in electronic discovery for complex litigation and regulatory matters in areas such as pharmaceutical products liability, insurance coverage claims, general commercial and financial litigation.
Elizabeth has served as an adjunct instructor for the University of Pittsburgh and McNeese State University (Louisiana), and she has a master’s degree in public and nonprofit management from the University of Pittsburgh. She supervised a nonprofit clinical program that utilized teams of students and faculty to provide technical and capacity building assistance to small community-based nonprofit organizations. Elizabeth remains active with nonprofit organizations and is proud to serve on the board of Society for the Preservation of the Duquesne Heights Incline which maintains and operates the historic Duquesne Incline in Pittsburgh.
