Emilie O. Reeslund

Emilie Reeslund's practice focuses on representing employers in labor and employment litigation, including wage and hour, harassment, retaliation, discrimination, and trade secret matters. She also counsels clients on federal and state statutes, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and various state discrimination and wage and hour laws.

As a law student, Emilie was active in the pro bono community and was recognized for Outstanding Achievement in Pro Bono. She served as student counsel for the Hastings Appellate Project, where she represented a Guatemalan national in an immigration case before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She also gained legal experience working as a paralegal at a small business litigation firm in San Jose.
