Emma C. Solaún is a partner in Holland & Knight's Miami and Tampa offices. She is a member of the firm's International & Cross Border Transactions Group and concentrates her practice on complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions and international and domestic joint ventures. Ms. Solaún has extensive experience in domestic and foreign commercial transactions and corporate finance, including venture capital and private equity transactions. She represents non-U.S.-based companies conducting business in the U.S., either directly or through a U.S. subsidiary, as well as U.S. and non-U.S. clients engaging in business transactions in Europe and Latin America. Ms. Solaún also has broad experience in intellectual property licensing and transfers. She works directly with U.S. and foreign in-house counsel, and regularly interacts with foreign outside counsel in serving clients across myriad industry lines.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Solaún practiced in general corporate and commercial law in New York City for nine years.
