Eric R. Hebert

ERIC R. HEBERT is counsel in the Public Finance practice group in the Washington, D.C. office. Mr. Hebert has been associated with Sidley Austin’s public finance department since 2000. He has been involved in a wide variety of public finance transactions including general obligation bond, revenue bond and note financings in the context of public purpose facilities and infrastructure, transportation, public utility and hospital and health care facilities. In particular, he has transactional experience in the areas of special tax district financings, subject to appropriation bonds, certificates of participation, utility revenue bonds, hospital and health care financings, lease revenue bonds, special assessment and tax increment bonds and installment loan financings.

Mr. Hebert has served as bond counsel for Fairfax County, Virginia, the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority, Prince William County, Virginia, the City of New York, the New York City Transitional Finance Authority, the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York and various other issuers throughout Virginia, New York, North Carolina and California. Mr. Hebert is a graduate of Cornell Law School and received a bachelor's degree from Canisius College.
