Evan Singer focuses his practice on complex commercial and business litigation, including securities, breach of contract, director and officer liability, and mergers and acquisition-related claims. He has represented companies and their officers and directors in securities class actions, shareholder derivative actions, and proxy contests. Evan also has defended claims brought under the False Claims Act (FCA), and he has substantial experience representing mortgage servicers in litigation and before state attorneys general. He regularly counsels clients on their director and officer liability insurance and indemnification programs.

Evan also has extensive experience conducting internal investigations, including investigations into potential violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). He has been intimately involved in investigations in the United States, Latin America, and Asia.

With a background in aviation, Evan has represented major U.S. airlines and their employees in a variety of regulatory matters before the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Department of Transportation (DOT), and other federal agencies. Though no longer an active pilot, he holds a commercial pilot's license with instrument and multi-engine ratings.

Evan currently serves on the board of directors of the Kessler School. He is a graduate of the Dallas Business Council for the Arts' Leadership Arts Program and previously served on the board of directors of Big Thought. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, and the Lawyer Pilots Bar Association.
