Felicia R. Williams

Felicia practices in the firm's business litigation and advertising, marketing and promotions groups. She focuses primarily on complex civil litigation, including cases involving class actions, contract disputes, business torts, breach of fiduciary duty, unfair business practices, and loan-related disputes. Felicia has represented a wide range of clients, including financial institutions, telecommunications service providers, Internet service providers, metropolitan areas, transit agencies, agricultural cooperatives and exporters, and a variety of private business owners.

Felicia represents and counsels clients through all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, trial team assistance, and appeals. She has obtained numerous favorable outcomes for those clients through summary judgments and settlements. Felicia recently argued constitutional protection issues before the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and obtained a victory at the Eighth Circuit. She has also helped defend a long-standing financial services client's victory on appeal to the Eighth Circuit, resulting in an affirmance of the district court's summary judgment award.

Felicia also has extensive experience advising clients in advertising and marketing matters, particularly those involving sweepstakes, contests and promotional activities. As the sole associate in the firm's Advertising, Marketing and Promotions group, Felicia has created dozens of sweepstakes and contests for both domestic and international promotions. She is a regular contributor to the firm's Sweepstakes Law Blog.
