Frank Morris is special counsel in the firm’s Parsippany office. Mr. Morris’s practice has focused on intellectual property matters, including litigation, licensing, opinion work and patent prosecution and appeals. His clients have ranged from individuals to some of the largest companies in the world. His litigation background includes trial and pre-trial representations involving technology such as e-commerce, computer software, integrated circuits, semiconductors, circuit board and microwave test equipment, telecommunications, local area networks, surgical lasers, disk drives, printers, intelligent terminals, and optics.
Mr. Morris’s licensing, opinion, and patent prosecution work covers most areas of physics and electrical engineering, as well as some mechanical engineering and chemistry. Areas of concentration include telecommunications (analog and digital, wired and wireless), digital signal processing, machine vision, Internet technology, e-commerce, software, integrated circuits (devices and fabrication), parallel computers, financial systems, computerized test equipment, fiber optics, lasers, nuclear magnetic resonance, and xerography.
