George D. Gabel Jr

George D. Gabel Jr. is a maritime lawyer in Holland & Knight's Jacksonville office. He represents ship owners and underwriters as well as a media lawyer advising newspapers, television stations and other media outlets on First Amendment issues and other aspects of communications law. He is also general counsel and director for an insurance company, where he serves as chairman of its management company. Mr. Gabel is the national litigation practice development partner and deputy section leader of the firm's National Litigation Section, which has more than 400 lawyers in more than 20 practice groups. Mr. Gabel previously served on the firm's Directors Committee and as executive partner of the Jacksonville office.
