Gina Guarienti Cook

Gina Guarienti Cook is an associate in the Employment Law practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s San Francisco office.

Ms. Cook represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including discrimination, sexual harassment, wage-and-hour cases, and compliance issues but has focused her practice on litigating high-stakes retaliation and wrongful termination cases. She has experience with single-plaintiff lawsuits, multi-plaintiff lawsuits, and alleged class actions, and has represented clients in the healthcare, financial services, retail, transportation, restaurant and hospitality, and entertainment industries. Ms. Cook has implemented innovative strategies and techniques to achieve favorable outcomes for her clients and has delivered nationwide presentations about best practices for avoiding and defending retaliation and wrongful termination cases.

She received her J.D. in 2006 from Yale Law School. Ms. Cook also holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Stanford University. She graduated from Stanford University with honors and distinction.
