Greg Lanier is Partner-in-Charge and head of litigation in Jones Day's Silicon Valley Office. Greg handles intellectual property and complex business litigation matters for clients based in Silicon Valley and around the globe. He also advises on IP and litigation issues arising in business transactions, such as M&A. Greg's experience covers a diverse range of technologies, from software to semiconductors to life sciences.

Greg has tried cases to juries, judges, and arbitration panels across the U.S. and has argued before a variety of federal and state appellate courts, including the Federal Circuit.

Greg serves on the Leadership Board of the College of Arts & Sciences at Santa Clara University.
