Greg Bynan is a partner in Winston & Strawn’s corporate department who concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, general corporate advice for publicly and privately held companies, and public and private securities offerings.

Mr. Bynan has significant experience representing private equity firms, family offices, and strategic entities in public and private acquisitions and dispositions. Recent representative clients in this area include Norwest Equity Partners LP, Guggenheim Partners LP, Booth Creek Management Corp., Triton Partners, Industrial Opportunity Partners LLC, Wynnchurch Capital, Ltd., Titanium Asset Management, and NGL Energy Partners LP.

Representative transactions in this area include the representation of Norwest Equity Partners in its recent acquisitions of Actagro LLC and Stanton Carpets; Booth Creek in its acquisition of the Montreal Canadiens hockey club, the Liverpool (UK) soccer club, Evernham Motorsports Racing (NASCAR) and sale of Coleman Natural Foods, Inc.; the representation of the buying group in its acquisition of the Los Angeles Dodgers Baseball Club; the representation of NGL Energy Partners in its acquisitions of SemStream LP and High Sierra Energy LP; the representation of Industrial Opportunity Partners in its acquisition of Edelbrock LLC and Kuss Filtration and sale of Center Manufacturing; the representation of Triton Partners in its acquisition of Dematic Corporation, and the representation of Bucryus International in its acquisition of DBT GmbH.

Mr. Bynan also regularly advises privately held companies on day-to-day corporate matters.

Mr. Bynan received a B.A. in Political Science from Miami University (Ohio) in 1989 and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1992.
