Mr. Granitto’s practice focuses on civil litigation involving complex issues of federal practice and procedure, antitrust cases and government investigations.

He has over 20 years’ experience representing clients in civil and criminal litigation in both federal and state courts. He has represented clients related to anticompetitive practice investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission, and related class action litigation, in diverse industries such as medical devices, telephonic services and equipment, electrical utilities, DRAM computer chips, and ebook publishing. In addition, he has had significant experience in the management of litigation and investigations and the related electronic discovery issues.

Prior to joining Akin Gump, Mr. Granitto worked with the Washington office of an international law firm, where he litigated on the federal level for one of the largest Internet service providers, utilizing computer technology in the systematic investigation and identification of individuals engaged in the transmission of unsolicited bulk email, computer fraud and the theft of computer services.
