Gregory K. Lee

Greg Lee is an experienced civil litigator who resolves complex disputes – often involving novel issues – brought in state and federal courts throughout the country. Greg’s practice is diverse and encompasses a broad range of areas, including environmental/toxic torts, business/commercial litigation, admiralty/maritime law, employment law, general liability, product liability and attorney malpractice. For the past five years, he has been recognized by Southern California Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star”.

Examples of Greg’s current engagements include the defense of an international retailer in a multimillion-dollar putative class action. He represents global carriers, logistics providers and cruise lines in maritime contract disputes, maritime tort claims, cargo damage/loss claims, and indemnity/contribution claims. In the employment arena, Greg defends companies and individuals against discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, defamation and wage and hour claims. Greg works extensively with property owners and managers to defend a wide array of premises liability issues. He also defends chemical manufacturers and suppliers in toxic tort cases alleging exposure to benzene, asbestos and diacetyl. In addition, Greg has a strong background in product liability defense, having represented manufacturers and distributors of cosmetics, chemicals, nutritional supplements, sporting equipment, and construction equipment.

Greg’s strong writing and analytical skills and his staunch, responsive advocacy on behalf of the firm’s clients have resulted in a substantial number of successful dispositive motions. He also has considerable second-chair trial experience, including a recent trial involving a partnership dissociation under the Revised Uniform Partnership Act, and has handled the binding arbitration of claims administered by the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), American Arbitration Association (AAA) and Arbitration Forums (AF).
