Landis has 31 years of experience representing clients in business, financial services and employment disputes, including in litigation, trials, arbitrations, mediations and administrative actions.
He has tried jury cases in state and federal courts and handled evidentiary proceedings before arbitrators and government tribunals. He has argued cases in the North Carolina Supreme Court, the North Carolina Court of Appeals, the North Carolina Business Court, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and state and federal trial courts.
Landis also serves as an arbitrator and mediator in business and employment matters. He is a certified North Carolina mediator and a member of the American Arbitration Association panel of arbitrators.
While earning his law degree from Wake Forest University, Landis was a member of the school's Law Review and National Moot Court team. In his senior year as an undergraduate at Davidson College, he received the King Academic Award, given to the varsity football player with the highest grade point average on the team.
