Heather C. Meservy is an associate in the Litigation Department. She also serves as the firm's Litigation Department Resource Attorney in the Professional Development Department. She rejoined the firm in 2011 and is resident in the San Diego office.

Ms. Meservy's practice focuses on appellate litigation. From 2009 to 2011, she was a senior appellate attorney with the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District, Division 1. She has co-authored articles, including "Overcoming ERISA as an Obstacle: The Ninth Circuit's Approval of San Francisco's Fair Share Legislation," Journal of Health and Life Sciences Law (2009). She is a recipient of the Legal Aid Society of San Diego's Outstanding Service Award and the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program's Wiley W. Manuel Award.

Ms. Meservy received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Cornell University in 1999. She received her J.D. from Cornell University School of Law in 2002. From 2002 until 2009, Ms. Meservy was a member of Cooley's Commercial Litigation practice group, focusing on complex commercial litigation for companies in the healthcare and technology industries.

Ms. Meservy is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before all California state and federal courts as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.
