Heather L. Hopkins is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Ms. Hopkins's practice focuses on all aspects of complex civil litigation, securities litigation and enforcement, and white collar defense. She represents banks, broker-dealers, investment advisors, trust companies, and their executives and directors in securities and other civil litigation and investigations conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, self-regulatory organizations, and state securities regulators. Ms. Hopkins also counsels clients on conducting internal investigations and on regulatory and compliance issues.

Ms. Hopkins earned her J.D. from the College of William & Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law in 2006, where she served as an articles editor for the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal and as a graduate research fellow. Ms. Hopkins earned her B.A., with honors, from Hamilton College in 2000.

Ms. Hopkins is admitted to practice in New York and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
