Hillary A. Webber

Hillary A. Webber is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm's Washington, D.C. office. She focuses her practice on antitrust litigation, healthcare antitrust counseling, representing clients in civil and criminal government investigations, and defending mergers and acquisitions before the U.S. antitrust agencies.

Hillary’s litigation experience includes representation of companies at the district court and appellate levels against federal and state antitrust, unfair competition, and consumer protection claims. She has represented international companies based in Asia and Europe in price-fixing matters before the U.S. Department of Justice and in multidistrict class action lawsuits.

Hillary frequently advises healthcare clients on issues such as clinical integration and potential acquisitions among physician groups and hospitals. She has successfully navigated managed care and life sciences clients through the merger review process and conduct investigations. In addition to healthcare, Hillary's practice spans a variety of industries including technology, insurance, pharmaceuticals, and consumer products.

Hillary also represents pro bono clients in obtaining special education services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. She is a member of the Firm’s Pro Bono Committee and the Children’s Law Center Advisory Board.

While in law school, Hillary was a judicial intern for the Honorable Gerald Bruce Lee of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. She served as an articles editor for the American University Law Review, and she was awarded the Lura E. Turley Prize for Outstanding Publication in the American University Law Review for her article, “Equal Justice Under the Law: Why IOLTA Programs do not Violate the First Amendment,” 53 Am. U. L. Rev. 491 (2003).

Hillary is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
