Holly A. Jones is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She currently practices with the firm’s Litigation Department on a variety of complex business litigation and appellate matters.
Ms. Jones has substantial experience with complex, large-scale commercial and business litigation in state and federal courts throughout California and across the country, with an emphasis on legal malpractice defense, securities litigation, and contractual disputes. Ms. Jones has significant experience preparing dispositive motions and handling complex discovery and motion practice both in California and federal courts.
Ms. Jones received her Juris Doctor degree summa cum laude in 2009 from the University of Arizona College of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif. During her time at the University of Arizona College of Law, Ms. Jones served as an Articles Editor of the Arizona Law Review, which published her note “The State Secrets Privilege: Overuse Causing Unintended Consequences” and also served as a teaching assistant. Ms. Jones earned a Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude in 2006 from the University of Arizona, with a double major in Journalism and Political Science.
Ms. Jones is a member of the American Bar Association and the Association of Business Trial Lawyers. She is admitted to practice law in the State of California and before the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
