Jac Calabro
is an associate in the Business Litigation group at King & Spalding’s New York office, where his practice focuses on complex disputes in federal and state courts as well as before international arbitral tribunals.
Mr. Calabro has experience arguing dispositive and procedural motions in state and federal court; taking and defending depositions; conducting discovery, including managing e-discovery; and drafting memoranda, briefs, and filings in connection with numerous commercial litigation and arbitration matters. He regularly serves as a key contact with courts, clients, and co- and opposing counsel.
Prior to joining King & Spalding, Mr. Calabro worked as an intern with the Kings County District Attorney’s office in Brooklyn, New York. He also served as an intern for the Honorable Edward McLaughlin in the New York County Supreme Court, Criminal Term.
Mr. Calabro received his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 2004, where he was a Dean’s List graduate. While at St. John’s, he served as Executive Notes and Articles Editor of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review. Prior to studying law, he received a B.A. in History from Brooklyn College.
