Mr. Pennington has a general corporate transactional practice, representing emerging technology companies and venture capital firms. He represents both privately-held and public companies in the information technology, telecommunications and life sciences industries in a wide range of transactions, including public offerings, private financings of equity and debt securities, mergers and acquisitions and strategic collaborations.
In 2004, Mr. Pennington received an LLM, with distinction, in Securities and Financial Regulation from the Georgetown University Law Center. In 2003, Mr. Pennington received a JD, cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he was a member of the San Diego International Law Journal.
