Jamie is counsel in the firm’s Chicago office. He serves on the Recruiting Committee and as the liaison between the Recruiting Committee and the Chicago Associates Advisory Board. Jamie represents employers in labor and employment matters in state and federal courts and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, and the Illinois Human Rights Commission. His clients are from a broad range of industries, including the biotech and life sciences industries.

Jamie has handled litigation involving, among other things, claims for whistleblower retaliation, discrimination, termination in breach of contract, trade secret infringement, and enforcement of non-compete agreements. He has litigated actions and counseled clients regarding Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII), the Civil Rights Act of 1866 (Section 1981), the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act, the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection (Dodd-Frank) Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Rehabilitation Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Illinois Human Rights Act, the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act, and wage and hour disputes under Illinois law and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Following law school, Jamie served as a law clerk to the Honorable William J. Bauer of the U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals from 2004-2005.
