Jim Broderick, a partner in the firm’s Real Estate, REITs & Real Estate Capital Markets Group, is co-chair of its Real Estate Investment Management & Finance Practice. Mr. Broderick primarily represents real estate investment advisors and other institutional investors in real estate transactions, with particular emphasis on structuring and implementing equity joint venture and sophisticated debt investments on behalf of institutional tax-exempt investors, their advisors and investment funds. He also has significant experience in the formation of commingled real estate investment funds, and has particular expertise in structuring subscription secured credit facilities on behalf of institutional investment funds. In addition, Mr. Broderick represents developers and noninstitutional investors in real estate acquisition, financing, development, zoning and land use matters.
