JAMES P. BRADLEY, former managing partner of Sidley’s Dallas office, has over 30 years of experience in litigating complex high technology cases. He has served as lead counsel in jury and bench trials in federal courts across the country as well as in trials in the International Trade Commission in Washington D.C. He has also successfully argued appeals before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He focuses his practice primarily on patent litigation that involves telecommunications, semiconductor devices, semiconductor processing technology, cell phones, and computers. Mr. Bradley served as a trial lawyer in the U.S. Navy’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps, receiving the Navy Achievement Medal for his service. He has lectured on patent litigation at the national conferences of the AIPLA and LES. Mr. Bradley has been ranked in both Chambers USA and The Best Lawyers in America since 2006. He also has been recognized in The International Who’s Who of Patent Lawyers from 2011-2013.
Mr. Bradley received his J.D. from Southern Methodist University, his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, where he serves on the Advisory Council for the College of Engineering. He is admitted to the California Bar and the Texas Bar.
