Ms. Shannon received both her B.S. magna cum laude in accounting and her M.S. in accounting in 1993 from the University of North Texas. She received her J.D. in 1996 from the University of Texas School of Law, where she was associate editor of The Review of Litigation from 1994 to 1996. Ms. Shannon was also listed in Who’s Who in American Law Students.
