Jason Cruise, a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins, focuses on a variety of antitrust matters, including assisting clients in obtaining clearance of mergers and acquisitions from the Federal Trade Commission, Department of Justice and other competition authorities around the world, and representing clients in connection with Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice civil and criminal investigations. In addition, he represents corporations and individuals in complex civil antitrust litigation involving claims of price fixing and monopolization, and counsels clients on a wide range of antitrust issues such as competitor collaboration, information sharing, and sales and marketing practices.

Mr. Cruise’s antitrust work has covered a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, healthcare, medical devices, computer software and hardware, communications technologies, payment systems, oil and gas, industrial products, motor vehicles and air carriers.

Mr. Cruise is recognized as a Rising Star in the 2014 Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers list, which recognizes individuals who have distinguished themselves in their legal practice.

Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Cruise worked as a consultant for American Management Systems, Inc.
