Jason represents business clients in complex and class action disputes. His practice focuses on financial services matters, antitrust litigation and compliance, software implementation and technology matters, and other commercial disputes. He has tried cases to jury verdict and binding arbitration decisions, in addition to handling appeals in the federal and North Carolina appellate courts.

He has significant experience representing financial services clients – including banks, venture capital and private equity firms, and other financial institutions – in disputes involving complex financial products and instruments, consumer class actions, matters arising from mergers and acquisitions, software and technology disputes, supply chain matters, insurance coverage disputes, and other complex litigation matters. He has significant experience with residential mortgage issues, including the recovery of more than $140 million on behalf of a large national bank on mortgage related insurance claims. He also has provided advice on various mortgage servicing, securitization, and investor issues and disputes.

Jason additionally represents clients in the manufacturing, chemical, technology, and food and beverage industries. In addition to representing such clients in commercial disputes, he provides advice on antitrust compliance, supply chain, electronic discovery and document retention issues. He has written and spoken on these and other topics.
