Jeffrey D. Litle

Jeff Litle represents companies in all types of complex corporate matters, focusing primarily on mergers and acquisitions, and has acted as the lead advisor and negotiator in dozens of significant transactions. He advises public and private company clients and private equity funds on matters such as business acquisitions and sales, bankruptcy dispositions and preparedness, corporate finance, joint ventures and strategic alliances, and general corporate counseling. Jeff's practice spans a wide range of industries, including mining, metals, manufacturing, financial and other professional services, telecommunications, automotive, health care, and publishing.

Jeff's recent experience includes advising Molycorp in its vertical mine-to-magnets integration strategy, including the company's $1.3 billion acquisition of Neo Material Technologies, its $390 million private placement of common stock to a strategic investor, its $100 million acquisition of a European metal and alloy processor, and its joint venture with Mitsubishi Corporation and Daido Steel to form a Japanese rare earth sintered magnet manufacturer. He also has recently represented Materion Corporation in its $325 million revolving credit facility and in more than $460 million of precious and base metal financings. In addition, Jeff currently represents an international alcoholic beverage company in connection with its worldwide network of distributorships.

Jeff is a member of the American Bar Association (Business Law Section), the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Columbus Bar Association. He is also the Columbus chair of the Legal Counsel on Legal Diversity.
