Jeffrey S. Yang

Jeffrey’s practice is concentrated on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including commercial leasing, acquisitions/dispositions, land use and finance. His real estate experience includes: (i) drafting and negotiating various real estate transactional documents, including commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, easements, deeds of trust, subordination agreements and indemnity agreements; (ii) representing commercial clients in connection with real estate disputes; and (iii) managing commercial development/finance due diligence.

Jeffrey also has general corporate transactional experience, which includes advising new and existing businesses with general corporate advice, and drafting corporate transactional documents (including entity formation documents, amendments to existing corporate governance documents, intellectual property preservation/protection documents, licensing agreements and other corporate documents). In the area of entertainment, he has experience representing entertainment entities in connection with intellectual properties disputes, licensing, production agreements and other entertainment-related transactions. Jeffrey also served as outside counsel for Mark Burnett Productions.

Prior to focusing on transactional work, Jeffrey was a commercial litigator for 5 years, where he represented Fortune 500 companies and high net worth individuals in the areas of general business litigation, products liability, real estate and insurance.

Jeffrey also serves as a board member of CORE Educational Services, which is a 501(c) non-profit organization benefitting inner-youth with after-school educational and physical programs. He also serves as Board Member of Men’s Guild Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and recently co-chaired the annual charity poker event which raised over $100,000 for the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Jeffrey is also an active member of the National Asian Pacific Bar Association (NAPABA).
