Jennifer DePalma is a partner in O’Melveny’s Silicon Valley and New York offices and a member of the Firm’s Transactions Department and Mergers and Acquisitions Practice.

Jennifer’s practice focuses on the representation of clients in the life sciences, healthcare, device and biotechnology sectors as well as the media, information technologies and real estate industries. She primarily represents publicly traded and privately held companies in both domestic and cross-border merger and acquisition transactions, leveraged buyout transactions, significant recapitalizations, corporate partnering arrangements, the formation of joint ventures and other strategic alliances and other similar transactions. Jennifer led the lawyer team in the acquisition transaction that was the first to use the relatively new merger statute in the Cayman Islands.

Jennifer also counsels public and private companies, as well as venture capital and private equity investors, on matters of securities, general corporate and business law, venture capital and private equity financings, PIPEs, public offerings and intellectual property transactions. Her professional experience includes serving as primary corporate counselor for NASDAQ-listed companies; company- and investor-side representations in multiple PIPE financing transactions; complex capital markets transactions; and representation of leading private equity and venture capital investors in financing transactions in the US and Asia.

In 2011 and 2013, Jennifer was named to Super Lawyers’ “Rising Stars” list of Northern California’s best young attorneys in the areas of Mergers & Acquisitions.
