Jennifer Black

Jennifer Black is an associate in the health care group at Ropes & Gray. Jennifer advises the firm’s health care clients on a variety of regulatory, transactional and compliance matters including corporate governance, fraud and abuse laws, government investigations, clinical research, mergers, affiliations, and licensure.

Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer spent a year working in the general counsel’s office at a major academic medical center. While there, she gained valuable experience in a wide range of areas including research compliance, risk management, and hospital operations. Before attending law school, Jennifer worked as a research assistant on a federally-funded study focused on diabetes prevention.
