Jennifer Everett represents employers in a wide rage of labor and employment matters. Her experience includes defending employers against claims arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the National Labor Relations Act, and other federal and state employment statutes. Jennifer has particular experience representing airlines in labor arbitrations under the Railway Labor Act. She also regularly counsels employers on personnel issues such as handbook policies, reductions in force, employment contracts, separation agreements, and covenants not to compete.
Jennifer is a contributing editor to Railway Labor Act (BNA 2012). She also maintains a substantial pro bono practice representing clients in collaboration with the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless. Prior to joining Jones Day, Jennifer was a translator and interpreter in Japan.
