Jennifer Tomsen focuses her practice on litigation, including commercial, securities, and environmental litigation in state and federal courts and securities arbitrations before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). She has represented broker-dealers in a wide variety of customer-member and member-member disputes, and regulatory matters involving claims of common law and statutory fraud, negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, unauthorized trading, and violations of SRO rules. Her experience includes defending directors and officers in securities class actions and other litigation, and representing special litigation committees in shareholder derivative suits. Jennifer has also represented corporations, banks, title insurance companies, and directors and officers in a wide variety of disputes and adversary proceedings, including those involving claims of products liability, toxic torts, breach of contract, misappropriation, unfair competition and deceptive trade practices, and breach of fiduciary duty, and collective action claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
