Jennifer Morgan

concentrates her practice in real estate private equity, advising fund sponsors and pension funds and other institutional investors in connection with structuring and negotiating fund formations and joint ventures, including private REITs and other structured investments. She regularly represents real estate private equity clients in connection with asset and entity-level acquisitions and joint ventures, dispositions and financings. Jennifer was named as a top real estate attorney in the 2013 and 2014 editions of Chambers USA, America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. She was also chosen as one of Fortune Magazine’s “Women Leaders in the Law” in 2013. The Legal 500 U.S. noted in its 2012 edition that Jennifer is “very business minded and practical.” She was named a “New York Super Lawyer” in 2011 and 2012. In addition, Super Lawyers selected her to its list of the 2012 and 2013 Top Real Estate Women Attorneys.

Jennifer is an adjunct professor of real estate transactions at Columbia Business School. She co-authored, “Tax-Exempts Challenge Private Fund Sponsors” in the October 3, 2006, edition of the New York Law Journal. She has participated as a panel speaker in numerous conferences related to real estate private equity.
