Mr. Meier has extensive experience in regulatory affairs and governmental litigation representing corporations and individuals doing business in California. His practice focuses on public sector contracting and regulatory affairs, for matters involving public utilities, state and local procurements, bid protests, writ actions and commercial litigation, contract negotiations, performance audits, government investigations, false claims and qui tam issues, and public records and conflicts of interest issues. He also has extensive experience in energy and telecommunications regulatory matters, involving the CPUC, CEC, FCC FERC and other agencies. Mr. Meier has handled numerous trials and arbitrations, mediations, and administrative hearings involving commercial disputes, government contracts, regulations and agency licensing, and enforcement actions. He routinely works with regulators, the state Attorney General’s office, agency staff, and others on governmental transactions and disputes. He primarily represents national companies involved in technology, health care, energy, telecommunications, cable and wireless, and financial services and infrastructure matters.
