Jeremy J. Ches

Jeremy Ches works closely with clients to resolve complex matters that are integral to their business. Mr. Ches has significant experience managing sophisticated commercial and contractual disputes, violations of noncompetition agreements and other business torts, consumer and commercial banking disputes and general business disputes. Mr. Ches draws on his subject matter knowledge to guide clients in the best direction, whether that means litigating against tough adversaries in state or federal court or arbitration, or using other alternative dispute resolution to prevent protracted, costly cases. His extensive courtroom experience and ability to manage document intensive electronic discovery issues helps clients advance their priorities and normal business operations when litigation is underway.

Mr. Ches works with businesses, executives and their advisors to devise and implement practical litigation strategies that align with the client's philosophy, strategy and financial interests. As a litigator, Mr. Ches anticipates not only the issues affecting a client's industry — market, economic and competitive issues, among others — but also the long-term implications, interpersonal relationships and related concerns that can impact the client's business.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Ches was an assistant state attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit in Florida from 2003 through 2006. At the Office of the State Attorney of Florida, he handled hundreds of cases involving hearings, depositions and trials. This experience enabled Mr. Ches to develop a seasoned approach to managing litigation, controversies and risks when clients need effective representation.
