Jeremy S. Byrum

Jeremy focuses his practice on white collar criminal defense, internal corporate investigations and False Claims Act (FCA) litigation. He has represented corporate and individual clients in numerous government investigations and indictments involving allegations of export control violations, healthcare fraud, financial fraud, bribery, identity theft, immigration violations, unfair trade practices, malfeasance in office, and violations of congressional ethics rules. He frequently defends clients in civil litigation under the FCA, including actions brought by qui tam plaintiffs. In addition, his practice includes general commercial litigation.

Jeremy was a law clerk to the Honorable Robert E. Payne of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia from 2005 to 2006.
