Practice & Background
Ms. Weisel has extensive experience authoring appellate briefs and writs in the 9th Circuit, the California Courts of Appeal and the California Supreme Court. She has handled numerous appeals and trial court litigation in both state and federal courts involving defamation, misappropriation, unfair competition, employment discrimination, false advertising, federal preemption, statutory construction, fraud, copyrights, environmental law, contracts, bankruptcy and class actions.
Ms. Weisel received her B.A. in 1991 from Grinnell College, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She received her J.D. in 1994 from Yale Law School, where she was the senior editor of the Yale Law Journal.
