Joe Benz is an associate in the Intellectual Property practice of Paul Hastings in the Atlanta office. His practice focuses on IP litigation matters including patent, trademark, trade secret, unfair competition and copyright litigation. Mr. Benz has appeared on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in U.S. District and appellate courts throughout the country and has significant experience representing clients in Section 337 investigations before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC). He has handled intellectual property disputes in diverse technologies such as vehicle tracking (GPS), computer software, robotics, telecommunications, semiconductor manufacturing, medical devices, financial industry transactions and electromagnetic fluid systems.
