Joe W. Conroy

Joe Conroy is Chief Executive Officer of Cooley and a member of the Firm's management committee. He is resident in the New York office.

Prior to becoming CEO, Mr. Conroy's practice focused on the representation of high-technology clients in connection with corporate and securities transactions and technology procurement and transfer matters with particular emphasis on life science, software and telecommunications companies. Mr. Conroy's transactional corporate work primarily involved mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, venture capital, joint ventures, and corporate finance. His experience in technology procurement and transfer matters include: licensing, marketing and distribution agreements, operating agreements, hardware and system purchase and lease agreements, and related intellectual property transactions.
