John A. Fore

John Fore has been a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati since 1990, where he is the head of the firm's corporate finance practice. John has extensive experience in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions transactions, and has worked on a large number of public and private mergers and acquisitions transactions, representing both acquirer and target companies, as well as private equity firms. In addition, his practice includes a broad range of public and private equity and debt financing transactions, representing both domestic and foreign issuers and underwriters in a variety of industries, including technology, retail, telecommunications, biotechnology, clean tech, health care, telecommunications, and manufacturing. He has also worked on a large number of joint ventures and venture capital financings.

As head of the firm's corporate finance practice, John has had responsibility for structuring and negotiating a large number of public and private debt transactions, principally for corporate borrowers and issuers. His corporate finance practice focuses on corporate and securities work for both public and private companies, as well as financial institutions, with particular emphasis on the representation of growth technology companies. He also has had extensive experience with a variety of debt transactions, including secured and unsecured bank financings; private placements; acquisition finance; project finance; leveraged leasing; senior, subordinated, and convertible note sales; multi-currency loans; letter-of-credit facilities; interest rate caps; off-balance sheet financings; 144A and Regulation S transactions; and public offerings of investment-grade and non-investment-grade notes and convertible subordinated debt securities. In response to client needs, John has developed a number of cutting-edge debt instruments for both the private and public markets.

John currently serves as a member of the firm's Policy Committee and is a former member of the firm's board of directors.
