Mr. Koss directs and oversees Counsel On Call’s Boston office, where he uses his extensive experience to help in-house legal departments and law firms manage their legal and compliance matters and create effective and economical business and legal solutions. He consults with clients in a wide variety of practice areas, including litigation management, e-discovery/large data, compliance, employment, due diligence, contracts management and legal research and writing. He, along with Counsel On Call’s team, focuses on process, efficiencies and ROI to provide significant cost savings and metrics to demonstrate the value of the legal services provided.

Prior to joining Counsel On Call, Mr. Koss practiced at Mintz Levin in Boston, where he was a founding member of the firm’s Electronic Discovery Practice Group and served as its Practice Coordinator. He was also an active member of the firm’s Product Liability and Complex Tort Litigation Practice Group. Mr. Koss maintained a diverse litigation and counseling practice with a particular focus on serving as national coordinating, strategy, and discovery counsel for pharmaceutical clients involved in serial litigation. In this role, he advised on liability minimization and prevention strategies as well as information governance and the design and execution of companywide and multinational discovery plans.

From 2011 to 2014, he was named a “Rising Star” by Massachusetts Super Lawyers and in 2012 was named an “Up and Coming Lawyer” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly and the Massachusetts Bar Association.

Mr. Koss is also the Chair of the Board of Directors for Fenway Health and for AIDS Action Committee in Boston. He is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and New York.
