John Opgenorth is an associate in the Real Estate practice of Paul Hastings and is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office.

Mr. Opgenorth represents banks and other institutional lenders and investors in connection with the financing of affordable housing and the private placement of tax exempt municipal bonds. His practice also includes the formation of joint ventures, general real estate-related financing, and the acquisition and disposition of commercial projects.

Mr. Opgenorth graduated with a B.S. in International Business and a B.A. in Spanish from Pepperdine University in 2004. He received his J.D. in 2009 from the University of Southern California Law School, where he participated in the Hale Moot Court Honors Program and the Small Business Clinic. Mr. Opgenorth is a member of the State Bar of California.
